Cookies

A cookie is an entry that may be made in a designated file (Cookies) on your personal computer. It contains the Uniform Resource Locator (URL or web address) of the site offering it, some site-specific information, and an expiration date. It is used to identify a specific session (as in a shopping cart application) or provide some other communication that persists beyond a given session (i.e., an automated login to a secured site).

Your system will automatically remove the cookie on its expiration date; sooner if you have accepted a large number of cookies . A cookie cannot transmit a virus to your computer; neither can it be used to extract personally identifiable information. Most web browsers permit you to either reject cookies entirely or to be asked prior to accepting them.

Kokopelli's Green Market uses cookies to manage our shopping cart sessions. When you first order an item, we send two cookies to your computer; one to identify the order, and one to identify the session in progress. The cookie identifying the order will expire in 30 days; the session identifier is temporary and is not retained by your system. When you complete your order, we will re-issue these cookies with dates in the past; this will cause your system to delete them.

When you check out, we will ask whether you wish to store your name and address information on our server. This will save you from having to enter it the next time you order from us. Note that we will not retain your credit card information. If you choose to do this, we will issue a cookie identifying your customer records on our system; this cookie will expire in one year.

Remember, it's always your choice as to whether you will accept cookies from a web site that offers them. Our shopping cart application requires cookies to function; if your browser does not support cookies, or if you choose to not accept them, you must use the Manual Order Form on our secured server.

Payment Policy

It is our request that all orders be accompanied by payment. We accept payment by personal check, money order, PayPal, or just about any major credit card. On all credit card orders, your account will be charged on the date on which your order is prepared for shipment. On all credit card orders the products must be shipped to your credit card billing address. Payment must be made in US Dollars.

If you requested a specific shipping method that is costlier than our normal shipping for your package, you will be charged the additional cost incurred.

When you use a credit card, please note that though this site is on a secured server you may choose to not include your credit card number and expiration date on an order that you submit electronically; if so, you may then call us to provide that information.

International Orders

Due to strict privacy regulations in a number of foreign countries, we cannot properly validate cardholder information for Visa and MasterCard. We are currently working with these credit card brands to secure alternate means of protecting their cardholders and ensuring the authenticity of transactions entered. At this time, however, we can no longer accept Visa or MasterCard as payment for customers in other than Canada and the US.

Should you wish to pay using a Visa or MasterCard, we suggest that you establish an account with PayPal. We can then simply issue a payment request through them which you can elect to pay or decline. More information on their program is available on-line at www.PayPal.com.

On foreign orders, we can only ship to the billing address for the credit card used for payment or to an authorized alternate address on file with the credit card issuer.

Back Orders

We make every effort to maintain an ample inventory of the products we offer; on occasion, however, our stocks may be depleted. This may result in our being unable to fill all or part of your order in a timely manner. Should this happen, we will contact you to let you know and will handle the order as you specify. You are never charged for items that have not been sent on their way.

Return Policy

We are confident of the quality of the products we carry. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with a product purchased from Kokopelli's Green Market, simply return the item within 30 days and we will gladly issue you a refund for the price you paid for the item. Shipping charges are not refundable. We only ask that you call us first at (802) 247-4100 to let us know; that way we can issue a return authorization.

Business Hours

Our Internet site is available 24 hours a day, every day for your shopping convenience. Our business office and shipping facility are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. eastern time. We are closed on holidays as noted below to permit our employees to spend time with their families.
